Level 1 IT Specialist

Pay: $18.00–$25.00/hour, depending on experience
Location: Elk City, OK 73644 — In person

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

As a Level 1 IT Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients — handling support requests, keeping clients informed every step of the way, and working with the team to get issues resolved.

What You'll Do

Customer Service

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, SMS, email, or ticket
• Deliver a friendly, quick, and helpful experience
• Provide remote troubleshooting, with onsite support when needed

Ticketing System

• Resolve helpdesk tickets and service requests through our ticketing system
• Keep thorough notes on troubleshooting, resolutions, and escalations
• Maintain accurate client documentation
• Assist teammates with open tickets when able

Monitoring & Management

• Review the RMM dashboard and apply remediation per process
• Review scheduled and automated actions per process

Project Work

• Support the Projects Team on-site or remotely as needed
• Computer repair

Communication & Risk

• Escalate tickets when documentation and resources are exhausted
• Keep clients updated on ticket status and any changes or outages
• Flag potential risks to your supervisor and clients

Teamwork

• Balance workload with the team to resolve tickets efficiently
• Follow security procedures and stay alert to security issues
• Suggest and support process improvements

What We're Looking For

• A genuine love of solving problems and challenges
• Strong communication skills, grounded in good listening
• Familiarity with support tools, operating systems, business applications, and network systems
• Ability to type quickly and accurately while on the phone
• Knowledge of IT applications, software, and hardware
• Ability to translate between “tech” and plain language
• Adaptability to a fast-paced IT environment
• 1+ year IT experience (preferred), 1+ year customer service experience (preferred)
• Must pass a yearly background check
• Must be able to commute to or relocate to Elk City, OK 73644
